Hi everyone!
Recently we had the honour of welcoming a group from Bangkok. Six adventurers accompanied by two teachers from St Andrews came here to take part in DOE award scheme. After spending a day-and-a-half of activities, full planning and checking their equipment they headed out into jungle of Doi Pha Hom Pok national park. From my point of view as a lead instructor, everyone pushed their limits to a very high level.
During those two days, students also got plenty of opportunity to practice their navigation and teamwork skills – very much needed for their later, assessed expedition. Not only that, they all succeeded but also managed to get to the top of the second-highest mountain: Doi Pha Hom Pok.
